Nonet

Seven seconds left, the game is still tied
Rondo brings the ball up the court
He passes to pierce, steps in
Drives, two seconds left
Steps back, one second
Shoots and swishes
The Celtics
Win

I was trying to create a suspenseful attitude for the reader. the rhythm went with Pierce's motions in the final seconds of the game. the significance is that i love the Celtics and they are one of my favorite sports teams.also this situation fit the format of the poem perfectly.the tone was supposed to be an exciting tone that really allowed the reader to visualize the scene.my word choice was that the words were choosing themselves and falling. it flowed when i wrote it and i feel like that is how it reads.
